As I neared the end of my college journey, I landed a part-time gig working with a local hay exporter, where I helped scale trucks. The best part was, I had the freedom to develop software that would streamline the process, as long as I didn’t neglect my primary responsibilities of trucking. That’s when we came up with “Exporter,” a fantastic program based on Oracle, which proved to be a hit not only at that particular site but also at various other customer locations over the years. The product was maintained regularly while I went to work at a technology consulting firm.In 2008, I was invited to return and tackle a similar challenge once more. Taking a break from my consulting work with startups, I embarked on creating a successor to “Exporter” called “Shipper.” By 2010, we had successfully upgraded all our existing customers and implemented a regular cycle of quarterly releases. Afterward, I resumed my consulting career, all the while cherishing the grounding effect that this remarkable product has had on me throughout the years. It’s stable, reliable, and steadily growing. I eagerly look forward to each new exciting chapter of its lifecycle and the possibilities it will bring.==Keno
